How to integrate Hubspot with your SFDC Sandbox environment
Step 1: Get your credentials in order.
In order to integrate with a SFDC Sandbox environment, you need to have a user with the same username and password on production and on the Sandbox.
Example:
If my production username is diana@hubspot.com, my sandbox username needs to be diana@hubspot.com.dev (the .dev here is the extension given by the sandbox)
Once you have ensured that your username and password are the same for both instances, we will need the extension of your Sandbox (.dev in the above example), your security token for production and your security token for the Sandbox.
Step 2: Install the SFDC connector in your Sandbox environment (Stop after Step 4)Follow this guide to install the SFDC connector.Step 3: Contact HubSpot SupportAfter you finish all of the steps above, please contact HubSpot Support at 1-888-HUBSPOT extension 3 to let them know that you're ready to verify your HubSpot Salesforce integration with a SFDC Sandbox environment. The connector is primarily designed to integrate with a production instance, and a HubSpot employee needs to change a few settings on the backend to enable an integration with a Sandbox environment. |
